Our Workplace Model

This policy applies to all members of the practice — counsel, associates, and interns. It reflects the realities of litigation practice in Pakistan: courts, clients, and deadlines set the rhythm, and the way we work is built around them.

Workplace Policy

Hybrid, Built Around the Courtroom

Court hearings, client meetings, filings, and case-file work are conducted on-site — at chambers, the Islamabad High Court, or the District Courts, as the cause list requires.

Legal research, drafting, correspondence, and case preparation may be carried out remotely, provided confidentiality of client material is fully maintained.

On-site time is flexible rather than fixed. Attendance is driven by hearing dates, filing deadlines, client needs, and our duty of care to every matter — not by a rigid quota of days.

During Ramadan and on court vacation schedules, working hours are adjusted in line with court notifications and Government of Pakistan announcements.

All team members, associates, and interns are expected to remain reachable during working hours and to attend chambers when a matter requires it.

Company Policy

Standards We Hold Ourselves To

Professional Conduct & Ethics

We practise in accordance with the Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils Act, 1973 and the Pakistan Bar Council's Canons of Professional Conduct and Etiquette. Integrity, candour before the court, and diligence in every brief are non-negotiable.

Client Confidentiality

Privileged communications are protected as recognised under the Qanun-e-Shahadat Order, 1984. Case files, client records, and electronic data are handled on a strict need-to-know basis, whether working from chambers or remotely.

Conflict of Interest

A conflict check is carried out before any new engagement is accepted. We do not act where a conflict exists or arises, and any potential conflict is disclosed to the client promptly.

Equal Opportunity & Safe Workplace

We maintain a merit-based, harassment-free workplace in compliance with the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010. There is zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or victimisation of any kind.

Leave & Public Holidays

Annual, casual, and sick leave are provided in line with applicable labour laws. All public and religious holidays notified by the Government of Pakistan are observed, alongside court vacation schedules.

Professional Development

Continuing legal education is actively encouraged — bar association engagement, legal research, and structured mentoring of junior counsel and interns are part of how the practice works.
